You can go, tell him it's a religious function, he should let you go. He can't stop you from that, and certainly can't make you fail band b/c of it....that'd f-ed up. Well, good luck, try again. Just be like, "dude, it's a thing with my church that I have already made plans for...religious function." stress that last part, he can't stop you from that, i mean, b/c that show will only be what? regionals or is that still the invitationals? I'd tell him to kiss my ass, but hey, whatever works for you. haha. Good luck w/ that, girl! lata!

That show is Mid-States Champions is Columbus Ohio, one of our biggest shows......I already said that it's a religious thing, but he knows what NCYC is and he said that the schedule was out before this was planned so it's non excusable....which is true
